Through spa treatments, workshops, conferences, classes, and healthy cuisine, the resort strives to help each guest achieve an integral harmony. All-natural, solar-heated adobe structures house the 40 luxurious rooms and 12 villas. Inspired by the principles of feng shui, these retreats and their gardens offer peaceful spaces where environmentally friendly practices, such as the use of purified water and recycling, take precedence. The theme of purification and renewal finds its greatest expression in the resort's spa treatments. Guests follow winding gravel paths through flowers and streams to the spa, where they select from more than 60 different treatments to cleanse and beautify the body as well as calm and soothe the mind. These treatments include antistress, reductive, exfoliating, and moisturizing body wraps and scrubs; facials; Reiki treatments; hot-stone and shiatsu massage; and the legendary temazcal. Believed as one of the oldest and most effective therapies in the middle Americas, a temazcal consists of an expert leading a meditation ritual in a steam chamber prepared with heated stones and herbs. Another treatment, the four-hand massage, calls for two therapists working in choreographed harmony. Harmony plays a key role in productive business meetings as well. The resort's three conference rooms provide a comfortable and friendly environment designed to stimulate creativity.
